Aug. 24-30, 2020
Western Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 10:50 a.m. on Aug. 24, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender ran at the officer striking the officer in the thigh area with his right shoulder. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 2:33 p.m. on Aug. 26, 2020, an officer was assaulted by an offender. The offender pushed a laundry cart into the officer and began striking the officer with a closed fist. Additional officer responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. Conduct violations will be issued. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Jefferson City Correctional Center: At approximately 8:51 a.m. on Aug. 27, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the facial area with closed fists. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer refused outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Jefferson City Correctional Center: At approximately 11:40 a.m. on Aug. 28, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the facial area several times. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Southeast Correctional Center: At approximately 1:20 p.m. on Aug. 28, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the facial area. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Potosi Correctional Center: At approximately 6:32 p.m. on Aug. 28, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer multiple times in the facial area. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer refused outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
