Aug. 3-9, 2020
Southeast Correctional Center: At approximately 8:38 p.m. on August 3, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw his head backwards, butting the officer in the right side of the forehead, facial area and damaging the officer’s glasses. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Potosi Correctional Center: At approximately 2:31 a.m. on August 4, 2020, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender struck one officer above the left eye and the right side of the head above the left ear with closed fists. The second officer was thrown against the cell well and received a laceration on the back of the right hand and contusions to the left temple area and left arm. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officers received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Boonville Correctional Center: At approximately 1:47 p.m. on August 6, 2020, an offender assaulted a nurse. The offender knocked the nurse to the ground. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The nurse did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
