Dec. 16-22, 2019
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 4:30 p.m. Dec. 16, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender spat at the officer, striking the officer on the back. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Jefferson City Correctional Center: At approximately 8:10 p.m. Dec. 21, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw an unknown substance, believed to be feces at an officer, striking the officers pants. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 9:49 a.m. Dec. 22, 2019, an offender assaulted three officers using the splint on his left arm. The offender struck the three officers in the facial area and knocked one of the officers to the ground. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. One officer did not require outside medical attention. Two officers received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Algoa Correctional Center: At approximately 5:25 p.m. Dec. 22, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw two apples at the officer striking the officer both times in the right leg. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Southeast Correctional Center: At approximately 9:33 p.m. Dec. 22, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the right jaw, neck area and right side of forehead. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
