June 1-7, 2020
Western Missouri Correctional Center: At approximately 12:42 a.m. on June 1, 2020, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender struck one officer in the mouth with his head and struck the other officer in the left eye with his head. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. One officer received outside medical attention and the other officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Potosi Correctional Center: At approximately 12:30 p.m. on June 1, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender attempted to pull into the cell by pulling the officers arm through the food port. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Boonville Correctional Center: At approximately 8:40 p.m. on June 5, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officers left hand with a closed fist. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 8:50 p.m. on June 5, 2020, an offender assaulted several officers. The offender would not comply with officer placing wrist restraints on offender. The officer’s thumb was caught in the restraints, injuring the officer’s thumb. The offender threw himself into two additional officers, resulting in one officer injuring their ribs. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. Two officers received outside medical attention. The remaining officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 8:10 p.m. on June 6, 2020, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender struck the officers in the facial area repeatedly with closed fists. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officers received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Northeast Correctional Center: At approximately 11:25 p.m. on June 6, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officers in the left shoulder and injured the officer’s thumb. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
