June 8-14, 2020
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 5:36 p.m. on June 08, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender grabbed the officer’s right wrist through the food port. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 9:32 p.m. on June 08, 2020, an offender assaulted three officers. The offender struck one officer in the facial area repeatedly with closed fists. Struck another officer in the facial area, placed officer in headlock, choked officer and threw officer into stairwell. Another officer received injuries to the rib area during the incident. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officers’ received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 12:42 p.m. on June 10, 2020, an offender assaulted several officers. The offender struck an officer in the left eye and spat at an officer striking the officer on the right side of the head. Another officer sprained/strained a fractured elbow and the other officer injured their left knee. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. Two officers did not require outside medical attention. Two officers received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 9:30 a.m. on June 14, 2020, an offender assaulted three officers. The offender threw an unknown substance at the officers, striking the officers in the left arm, stomach, hip, and legs. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officers did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 14, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender took a paper bag covered in feces and wiped it across the officers hand and chest. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 6:58 p.m. on June 14, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender spat at the officer striking the officer on the left side facial area. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
