March 25-31, 2019
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 2:31 a.m. March 25, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender grabbed the officers left buttock. Staff responded appropriately, and the offender was secured. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Chillicothe Correctional Center: At approximately 1 p.m. March 27, 2019, two offenders assaulted an officer. The offenders were in possession of clear liquid that spilled out onto some papers, causing the officer to have difficulty breathing. Staff responded appropriately, and the offenders were secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 3:53 p.m. on March 27, 2019, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender struck one officer with a closed fist in the face and struck the other officer in the face and twice slammed the officer to the floor. Staff responded appropriately, and the offender was secured. One officer received outside medical treatment, and the other did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Women’s Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 10:51 a.m. March 30, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw a cup of unknown contents, striking the officer in the leg and feet. Staff responded appropriately, and the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 1:23 p.m. March 30, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender squirted an unknown substance, striking the officer on the back, head and facial area. Staff responded appropriately, and the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
