March 11-17, 2019
Jefferson City Correctional Center: At approximately 6:15 a.m. March 13, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw water on the officer and spat in the officer’s face. Staff responded appropriately, and the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Crossroads Correctional Center: At approximately 10:04 a.m. March 15, 2019, an offender assaulted a correctional case manager (CCM). The offender struck the CCM in the head and face. Staff responded appropriately, and the offender was secured. The CCM was examined by outside medical staff. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Jefferson City Correctional Center: At approximately 12 p.m. March 17, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw urine on the upper torso of the officer, soaking his uniform shirt. Staff responded appropriately, and the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
