Success Story
Northeast Correctional Center Restorative Justice Garden sponsored by NECC Restorative Justice Organization is one way for the offenders to give back to society. This year has been an extremely difficult time due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has struck the United States resulting in business closing and loss of jobs. The need for fresh fruits and vegetables is at an all-time high. NECC is working directly with Local Food Pantries for immediate distribution. The offenders work extremely hard to make sure the garden produces its full potential. It is a great learning opportunity to see how hard work pays off and that giving to others is the true reward.
